GDPR The consent message is a rule from the European Union called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It’s all about protecting your personal information. This ‘consent’ thing means that before a company can gather, use, or share your data, they have to ask for your permission in a way you can easily understand.
That’s why, as bloggers, we get popup messages and warnings to set up GDPR consent messages on the AdSense dashboard. Google said it is mandatory to show the GDPR message to get revenue from countries like the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom.
Below is the process I have guided you on how to create a GDPR message.
guide to set GDPR Consent message
You might all have received the message I showed below in a screenshot. Select the “I want to create a GDPR message using Google’s CMP in Adsense” second radio button and then confirm.
Next, just Click on Get Started.
Select one site if you have multiple sites.
Once you have selected your website, then confirm and make the below changes.
Make sure you have selected on toggled for both “Do not consent” and “Close (do not consent)” and finally click on publish button.
That’s all, Greets, you’re done.
